Volunteer Opportunities

Would you like to be part of the Dropkick Depression volunteer team? We have multiple opportunities available and are also always open to additional positions if you think you can be an asset but don't see something that fits your expertise below. 

WRITING TEAM

Dropkick Depression is looking for individuals who have a passion for writing/interviewing and can be self-starting storytellers! You would write on a large range of subjects, but all submissions would be decided by you! Writers will/can be featured on the website, social media, through published works, and will have the opportunity to attend events as Dropkick Depression press.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to write a minimum of two submissions a month. 

2. Must be able to create interesting and subject appropriate content without direction. We want you to be able to write what you want, how you want!

3. Must be able to write in fluent English as the majority if not all readers are currently US based.

STREET TEAM

Dropkick Depression is looking for individuals in mid/central New Jersey to hand out and post event flyers and posters. These individuals would be given hours credit for non-profit volunteer work and free admission to Dropkick Depression events they participate in handouts for. A great way to help a good cause and get to be part of the Dropkick family!

REQUIREMENTS

1. Reliable transportation.

2. Must be able to take photographs of completed drop offs and fill out appropriate end of day paperwork.

3. Must be able to speak professionally and courteously as you will be a representative of Dropkick Depression in the world of local businesses and we want to make the best impression!

PROJECTS TEAM

Dropkick Depression is looking for individuals who have their own knack for helping the community. We're always looking for new and exciting projects to get either our roster and/or the community involved in helping others. These individuals would be responsible for helping find project opportunities! 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to compile professional e-mails on behalf of Dropkick Depression. 

2. Must be able to send reports on potential opportunities directly to the President.  

3. Previous experience in this field is preferred, however not mandatory. 

4. Must be able to stay in contact with President throughout project as the "project lead".
